Program Details for the Nigeria Higher Education Foundation Scholars
The Scholars Program is designed to accelerate a student’s early career and offers a range of possibilities to selected scholars from our partner universities. For each applicant to be eligible for the Nigeria Higher Education Foundation Scholars Program, they must:
- Must be deeply committed to philanthropy, leadership, and community service, as well as leaving a lasting impression on the world.
- Must be in their penultimate year at one of our partner universities, either as 400-level or 300-level students enrolled in four-year programs.
The Nigeria Higher Education Foundation Scholars Program has the following advantages
Every scholar in the NHEF Scholars Program receives extensive instruction from a carefully chosen team of foreign facilitators. The Scholars thereafter begin six to eight-week internships with our Partner Firms. They also go through a demanding program that guarantees ongoing professional and personal growth.
How to Apply for the Scholars Program at the Nigeria Higher Education Foundation
Open the NHEF application portal and log in.
Create an account on the portal by entering your phone number, email address, password, and first and last name to register.
Once you’ve registered, check the email address you used to register to confirm your identity. Either click the link or copy the web address to your web browser.
Use your created password and email address to log in once your account has been authenticated.
Click the APPLY tab on the dashboard to access the application.
Fill out the application page’s program essay questions and biographical information completely.
Applicants should be ready to upload the aforementioned supporting files: a one-page statement of results, a one-page curriculum vitae (CV), and a one-page cover letter
Examine application responses, then send them in.
Note: To make it simpler for interested individuals to copy and paste their answers into the application answer box, we advise that they have already completed the application questions on a different document, such as a Word document. This is a result of the inability to save the application. It must therefore be filled out and sent right away.
