The Adlerbertska Scholarship Foundation, the Adlerbertska Grant Foundation, and the Swedish Council for Higher Education (UHR) support the University of Gothenburg’s Axel Adler Scholarship.

To be considered for the Axel Adler Scholarship at the University of Gothenburg, you must:

You must submit your study application by 15 January 2024, pay the application cost, and document your study eligibility by 1 February 2024 at  www.universityadmissions.se.

Scholarships pay the tuition for the program to which you have been admitted. There is no further financial help for living expenses or travel funds available; only tuition fees are waived.

Documents Required for University of Gothenburg 2024 Axel Adler Scholarship

Candidates must be prepared to provide the listed documents

  • CV and Motivation Letter

When applying for the Axel Adler Scholarship, you must submit a CV and a Letter of Motivation in writing form. These are used for scholar selection.

You might mention achievements from your CV in the inspiring letter. Other forms of documents cannot be included in your scholarship application.

Academic staff evaluate and rank scholarship applicants based on their CVs and motivation letters.

The assessment is conducted in conjunction with the evaluation of your application to the study program to identify your suitability for the program as well as your dedication and desire to study.

Each program receives a single scholarship.

There is an exemption for Master’s programs in Fine Arts, Crafts, and Design, as well as Music and Performance, which will each get four scholarships.
