Qualifications for the Alex Otti Foundation Scholarship

To be qualified to apply for the Alex Otti Foundation Scholarship, candidates need to be able to:

Students enrolled in any government-owned postsecondary institution in Nigeria who are now in their second year (200 Level).
In his or her first academic session, or First Year, the candidate must have had a CGPA of at least 3.5 for universities (or its equivalent, for other tertiary institutions).

Children who have the same parents as a current scholar of the Alex Otti Foundation are not eligible, and they won’t be until the existing scholarship has completed its full term.

Documents Needed to Apply for the Alex Otti Foundation Scholarship

A declaration of results for the first academic session, or first year, must be submitted by candidates and signed by the administrative officer of the department or faculty, who is officially the department or faculty’s registrar’s representative.
To demonstrate that they are now residents of Abia State, candidates must submit a letter of recognition from the head of their community or religious group or their most recent three months’ worth of power utility bills.
Applicants are required to submit a 1,200-word essay that is divided into three sections and includes the following information: (a) a description of their nuclear family and how they fit into it; (b) an account of a time they were part of a community and what they contributed to it; and (c) Their opinions on contributing back to society.
Applicants must present a legitimate form of identification.
