Due to the intense competition for this job program, candidates who are actively being considered for a position may be required to provide references and their academic transcripts. Only those applicants whom hiring managers want to interview will receive communication from the World Bank. Roles can be found in any of the World Bank’s offices worldwide. A JPA assignment does not serve as a springboard for a career at the World Bank, and employment after the two-year contract has ended will not be permitted for a further two years. Still, a few former JPAs might re-join the company.
