2024 | Fully Funded NNPC/Agip Scholarship (Local & Overseas)

For deserving and motivated Nigerian students who wish to pursue their degrees both domestically and abroad, the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and Nigerian Agip Exploration Limited are jointly giving the NNPC/Agip Scholarships.

Details of the NNPC/Agip Postgraduate Scholarship:

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, Nigerian Agip Exploration (NAE) Limited is dedicated to the training and development of labor on behalf of the NNPC/NAE PSC.

In light of this, NAE is now accepting applications for the 2024–2025 NNPC/Agip Scholarship from adequately qualified and motivated Nigerian graduates. There are two categories for the award:

1. Abroad – To pursue education at a respectable foreign university
2. Local: To study at an accredited university in Nigeria

Scholarship Requirements for NNPC/Agip:

For the NNPC/AGIP postgraduate scholarship to be given consideration, you have to:

Hold a Second Class Upper Bachelor’s degree, at the very least, from an accredited Nigerian university.
Have been accepted into a one-year Master’s degree program in any of the following fields at a Nigerian or international university (depending on the category being applied for).
Not older than 28 years old on December 31, 2024.
Have finished the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program, which lasted one year.
Hold an international passport (applicable to abroad category) that is valid for travel for at least a year starting in September 2024.

The length of the NNPC/Agip Postgraduate Scholarship and its reward

The scholarship provides complete funding for a postgraduate program in a Nigerian or foreign university for one year.

Documentation Needed for NNPC/Agip Scholarship

Candidates must be prepared to submit the following paperwork in order to apply:

A passport photo with a white background that is no older than six months (450 x 450 pixels).
Letter of provisional admission for postgraduate studies at any respected university, domestic or foreign, for the 2024–2025 session. This acceptance letter needs to be for the course that the applicant specified on their application.
Certificate of First Degree.
NYSC Certificate of Discharge.
Authentic identification card (passport, voter’s card, national identity card).
Valid International Passport Data Page only for Overseas Travel (valid for travel beginning in September 2024 and valid for at least a year).
Certificate of Birth issued by the Local Government.
Declaration of NAE Compliance Form.

It is encouraged for applicants in the Overseas category to submit an application for the Local Post Graduate Scholarship Award as well.
