Management & Reporting Officer

Overview of Roles

The incumbent is responsible for overseeing the Employee Data Management & Reporting Officer and ensuring that all data entry is accurate as well as maintaining protocols for data collection, input, and oversight, as well as management.

Moreover, he or she will be in charge of managing data entry, guaranteeing data integrity, producing reports, and assisting with HR tasks with an emphasis on data correctness and compliance through written and verbal communication as well as making sure real-time employee facts are obtained when needed.

Function and Accountabilities

  • As needed, pull information from the existing ERP system—such as SAP—and provide the business with the reports it needs.
  • Assemble and collect information to be processed and added to databases.
  • Enter employee data into systems and databases for HR.
  • Sort, insert, and handle information about personnel details.
  • Examine and confirm information about personnel details.
  • Keep databases up to date for different kinds of tasks and features.
  • Enter and retrieve information about staff members’ administrative responsibilities and tasks from a database.
  • Help with the creation and analysis of HR reports to offer information on important indicators like diversity, headcount, and turnover.
  • When necessary, create ad hoc reports for HR management and other departments.
  • Make sure that ECOWAS Institution policies and data protection laws are followed, as well as record-keeping requirements.
  • As required by law, keep and update personnel files and employment records.
  • Manage the data processing tasks associated with one or more projects.
  • Assist with technology-related projects and HR systems, and produce reports and data that the company requests.
  • Get information out of databases.
  • Help staff members with questions about HR data while maintaining confidentiality and giving correct information.
  • Verify data entered into the database on a regular basis.
  • Carries out any additional duties that the supervisor assigns.

Education and Experience

  • An accredited university’s Brevet de Technicien Superieur (BTS) or Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in information technology, statistics, or a related discipline.
  • Eighteen years of experience in the public or private sector, or in international organizations, in information technology, data management, and/or administrative work.
  • Proficiency in understanding and implementing human resources rules, methods, and practices concerning leave, salary, benefits, pensions, medical, hiring, payroll, and other related areas within a business.
  • Ability to use ERP systems, such as SAP, proficiently for skilled administrative and specialized technical activities; comprehension of HR principles; application of SAP work procedures; and ability to respond to and answer HR inquiries.

Maximum Age:

  • Be younger than fifty years old. This clause is not applicable to candidates who are internal.
