About University of Westminster
The university began in 1838 when Sir George Cayley opened the Polytechnic Institution at 309 Regent Street in London. In the year 1881, philanthropist Quintin Hogg bought the Royal Polytechnic Institution building and moved his Young Men’s Christian Institute into 309 Regent Street, which later became the overtly funded Regent Street Polytechnic. Purpose and Benefits of GREAT Scholarship
The University will receive direct payment of a £10,000 tuition fee award for your tuition fees. The award is just for the first year for students on two-year postgraduate courses.
Requirements for GREAT Scholarship Qualification
The scholarship is open to Overseas fee-paying students from Nigeria.
The applicants must hold an offer for a full-time master’s course in Law starting in September 2022 at the University of Westminster.
Students with a Master’s degree are not eligible to apply unless otherwise specified in the foreign academic qualifications equivalency guide.
Also note that if your course falls into any of the following categories, then you are not eligible to apply for the scholarship:
- Postgraduate Diploma
- Professional courses (RIBA pt III, ACCA, CIMA, CiLEX)
- Conversion courses (Graduate Diploma in Law)
- Integrated Masters/MPhil/Ph.D. student
- Part-time students
Interview date, Process, and Venue
The selection will be based on academic qualifications and personal statements. A minimum of UK equivalent 2:1 honors degree.
